Martyn, Theresa, Louise & family & Kevin & family
My earliest memory of Michael is when I was about 5 or 6 (Michael being 2 years older than me). At that time (mid 1950s) we lived in a prefab in Belmont. I can remember us playing in the street with our friends and going to the Downs where there was one particular tree that we used to climb. In the 1960s when we lived in Morden I recall us, as a family, going to Pontin's holiday camps on several occasions, day trips to Littlehampton and visiting Auntie Doris, Uncle Eddie, Janis and Peter in New Milton during the summer holidays - such happy memories. Over recent years Michael and I enjoyed talking about the various sports we were interested in and, in particular, his love of cricket. I will always have fond memories of Michael and the time we spent together, particularly his sense of humour which sometimes I wasn't quick enough to acknowledge 😁. Rest in peace Michael.
